Adapting Connections Options
1 min
if you are interested in a broader or narrower neighborhood of your query genes (see basic search docid 7qmysbpiohulmimemlbbl for details), you can change connections options by default, mode distance neighbors is selected, which allows you to change how many neighbors to include to each node (neighbors) and by how many “steps” from your query genes (selected genes) you want to include when expanding the graph (distance) alternatively, you can construct your graph based on mode direct connection or shortest path by choosing direct connection, all the direct connections between your queried genes will be identified queried genes which are not directly connected to any other queried gene will be left without any edges the shortest path mode will implement the yen’s algorithm to identify the shortest path(s) between your queried genes in a pair wise manner this mode can be used for up to ten queried genes and identify up to five shortest paths (number of shortest paths)
